Katy & Derek - Maroni Meadows | Jubilee Weddings and Events

Last year, on Saturday August 5th, an incredible couple celebrated their nuptials surrounded by all their loved ones. Katy and Derek were such a joy to work with and we truly enjoyed coordinating their wedding and sharing their wedding day. Their wedding took place at Maroni Meadows in Snohomish, WA, which is a gorgeous woodsy residence, full of flower gardens and serene ponds. As most wedding days are, the day started bright and early with the hustle and bustle of vendor set up and guest arrivals. Katy shared a heartfelt first look with her father while the caterers and cake arrived.

The processional started with the song Can’t Help Falling In Love With You by the Piano Dreamers and the ceremony played out without a hitch. The guests enjoyed a delicious cocktail hour before the new Mr. and Mrs. made their grand entrance and gave a welcome speech. Lombardis set up a delicious buffet for everyone to enjoy and dancing and toasts began to commence. Katy and Derek had a super fun audio guestbook that allowed the guests to leave words of wisdom and funny stories on a phone for them to listen to and enjoy together. Aha Party Co. also set up their wonderful photobooth trailer that allows guests to take awesome photos for both themselves and the newlyweds to keep. As the partying began to take off in full force, the couple had one last treat in store for their guests, which was Shug’s Soda Fountain ice cream truck.

This was such a cool addition to the traditional cake/desserts option at most weddings. The ice cream truck set up outside and everyone was invited to enjoy handpicked specialty ice cream flavors. As the night began to wind down, and everyone had their fill of ice cream and dancing, the couple shared one last private dance to Lana Del Ray’s song Video Games before their send off. Katy and Derek were sent off on their wedding night with so much love and well wishes that we hope have held true as they maneuvered this past year of marriage. They were truly an amazing couple to work with and we are so honored they chose us to coordinate and plan their special day! Happy Anniversary, you two! Cheers to many more wondrous years of marriage!
