Decorating For A Halloween Party

Decorating for Halloween
Halloween Party

With halloween right around the corner, we wanted to give you some tips on how to throw the most amazing halloween party! It doesn’t take much… unless you want it to be real spooky! Obviously this year is a bit different, but even if it’s virtual, it can be a blast!

For the most part, you can make your own food, and even make your own decorations! We love halloween over here. Now let’s get into it!

  1. Pick A Theme Are you going for a spooky party, or a more light-hearted, cute halloween party? Either way, you need to pick a theme in order to have a successful party! This will not only help with your vision, but will also narrow down your to-do list.

1. Have A Budget The budget is KEY! Many people think that if you have a bigger budget, the party will be better.. Which CAN be true, but since we’re here helping you, we can give you recommendations on what to focus your budget on. Also, because it is 2020, you don’t have to worry about buying too many party favors, or food for that matter. So what should you focus on? We’d say, decorations, easy food, and great music. Each of these can be extremely affordable… depending on what you buy! Spider webs are easy to work with, and affordable., as are pumpkins from the dollar store! Get creative.

2. Pick A Costume YES! As the host, or hostess, you MUST dress up! Especially if you’re hosting it virtually, it’ll get your friends and family excited about the different kind of party you’re throwing.

3. Decide If You’ll Have Drinks If you decide to have drinks, get creative! Yes, creative is the word of this blog post… because that is what it is all about! Just type in “spooky drinks” on Pinterest, and you’ll find A LOT of amazing and fun drink ideas. (Some even with smoke…)

4. Have FUN This may seem obvious, but as a host or hostess, sometimes you’ll get lost in the details… and ultimately, everyone, whether they’re virtual or there in person, will have a blast!

Like every other event, it’s important to have a plan. Even during the pandemic, you can have a fabulous party. Don’t be discouraged! You can always message us on Instagram if you have any questions regarding your party planning!
